What Kind of Learner Are You?

    Picture
I am so glad to be working with you this year!  I am very excited about everything we will be learning.  However, I believe that learning should be interesting and fun.  This is where you come in.  I would like for you to tell me what kinds of things you like and how you like to learn.  Answer the following questions to yourself as you think about the kind of learner you are.

    What is your favorite subject?
What kind of books do you like to read?
What are some of your favorite things?
Do you like using computers, digital cameras or ipods?
    Who are your favorite people?
What is your favorite thing to do?
What is your favorite place to go?
Do you like to work in a group or by yourself?

Do you understand things better when a friend explains it to you?
Do you learn best from singing songs, playing games, watching videos
                                                                                                            or doing things?
What are your favorite things to do at school?

As you think about your answer to these questions, please write a paragraph with five to seven sentences telling me what kind of learner you are.  After you write your paragraph, please visit our classroom wiki and type and save your paragraph there!  See you on the wiki!

    Learning Expectations

    Picture
Here at Stonewall Tell Elementary, we have the highest expectations for our students academically and behaviorally.  In order for our students to be prepared for success in the 21st century, we must ensure that they are always engaged in their learning as well as  respecting the rights of others as they are learning.  We want Stonewall Tell to be a safe environment that is conducive to learning.  Click here to view the learning expectations for our EIP class.  Please feel free to revisit them as needed.
